CRM for agencies

A pipeline that starts before the client exists

Short answer

Skip the Pitch is a desktop app that finds local businesses with weak websites, grades them, builds a bespoke showcase site you can pitch with, and tracks the deal to won. The deal tracking is deliberately light: it is a pipeline, not a full agency CRM.

If you need invoicing, time tracking or resource planning, use a real agency CRM like Productive, Pipedrive or Copper. Skip the Pitch is not competing for that job. It covers the part those tools assume you have already done: getting the client in the first place.

Why do most agency CRMs feel like they start too late?

Because they are built for delivery. A general CRM opens with a contact record, which assumes a lead already exists. For an agency selling websites to local businesses, the expensive part happens earlier: working out which businesses are worth approaching, and giving them a reason to reply.

What does the deal tracking actually do?

Enough to run a web-project pipeline, and nothing beyond it:

  • Pipeline value, won revenue, monthly recurring and open deals at a glance.
  • Every deal moves from contacted through to won or lost.
  • One-off project value, monthly retainer and your commission, in any currency.
  • Each deal stays linked to the prospect and the site you built for them.

Most people run it alongside whatever they already use for invoicing. That is the intended shape, not a gap we are apologising for. See every screen.
