GoHighLevel alternative

The GoHighLevel alternative for agencies that sell websites.

Short answer

GoHighLevel is an all-in-one platform for marketing agencies: CRM and pipelines, a website and funnel builder with AI, email and SMS marketing, calling, booking calendars, reputation management and workflow automation, with a sub-account for each client. Skip the Pitch is a desktop app for agencies and freelancers who sell websites to local businesses: it finds the prospects, grades their current site, builds a bespoke showcase site to pitch with, and tracks the deal to won.

On paper they overlap: both find prospects, both build sites with AI, both track the deal. The difference is size. HighLevel is an agency's whole operating system, from $97 a month plus usage, and it pays for itself when you run clients' marketing for them. Skip the Pitch does one job, selling a website to a local business, from $20 a month.

What is the actual difference?

HighLevel wins on breadth by a distance, and the table says so. Skip the Pitch wins on fit for one motion: find a local business with a weak site, build the replacement before you call, and close it. If your agency sells retainers for SMS, reviews and ads, HighLevel is the platform. If you sell websites, most of it sits unused.

"Needs your own AI account" is a real cost on our side, not a feature. It is also the reason our builds are unlimited. Both rows are the same trade seen from two directions.

How does the pricing compare?

Both are flat monthly plans, at very different sizes. HighLevel starts at $97 a month for three client sub-accounts and adds usage charges for phone, SMS, email and some AI. Skip the Pitch starts at $20 a month, meters managed Google discovery and published sites, and never meters the build.

GoHighLevel

A flat platform fee sized by sub-accounts, plus usage-based charges for phone numbers, SMS, email and some AI features, plus optional add-ons priced per sub-account. On Unlimited and Agency Pro the usage charges can be rebilled to clients.

Skip the Pitch

No build meter at all. Builds run locally on your own AI account, so a plan never caps how many sites you make. Plans differ on two things only: how much managed Google discovery you get, and how many published sites you can keep live.

The honest trade: you supply and pay for your own AI account (Claude, Codex, OpenRouter, Cursor Agent and more), and the app needs a Mac with Apple silicon or a 64-bit Windows 10/11 PC.

When should you choose GoHighLevel instead?

Often, and we would rather say so than waste your time. GoHighLevel is built for marketing agencies that run their clients' whole marketing stack, and want it on one white-labelled platform they can resell as their own software. It is an operating system for an agency, not a single tool.

  • Breadth. CRM, email and SMS, calling, booking calendars, forms, social media management, reviews and reputation, an ad manager, courses, communities, payments and invoicing, all in one login.
  • Unlimited contacts and users on every plan, and unlimited client sub-accounts from $297 a month.
  • White-label: custom domains for every funnel and site, your branding on the web app, and on Agency Pro a SaaS mode that resells the platform as your own software with rebilling at a markup.
  • A built-in Prospecting tool that finds businesses by location and keyword and sends each a branded Marketing Audit Report on their directory listings and reviews, by email or SMS.
  • Ongoing retainers, not one-off sites: it is built to run a client's marketing month after month, with a Snapshot library of pre-built accounts by industry and a large user community.

If any of those describe you, use GoHighLevel. It is a good product, built for a different job than ours. See GoHighLevel

When does Skip the Pitch make more sense?

When the website is the whole offer. If you sell sites to local businesses and do not want to run their texts, calendars and reviews as well, you would be paying for a platform to use one corner of it. GoHighLevel does not attempt:

  • Grading the prospect's current website. Its audit report covers directory listings and reviews.
  • Running the build on your own machine with your own AI account. Its AI runs on HighLevel, and some AI features carry usage-based charges.
  • Staying small. It is priced and set up as a whole agency platform, so a seller of websites pays for every module whether it uses them or not.

Skip the Pitch covers the whole run: find, grade, build, close. You walk into the conversation with the finished site already made, which is the entire idea: see how it works.
