Outscraper alternative
The Outscraper alternative for agencies that sell websites
Short answer
Outscraper is a pay-as-you-go data platform that extracts business records from Google Maps and 50+ other sources, with contact enrichment, review scraping and a public API. Skip the Pitch is a desktop app for agencies and freelancers who sell websites to local businesses: it finds the prospects, grades their current site, builds a bespoke showcase site to pitch with, and tracks the deal to won.
They are not substitutes. Outscraper hands you a spreadsheet of businesses. Everything after that, deciding who is worth pitching, showing them something better and following the deal, is still yours to build. Skip the Pitch is that everything-after, with discovery included.
Outscraper pricing and features verified on 1 September 2026 from their pricing page. We re-check quarterly. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
What is the actual difference?
Outscraper covers the first step, discovery, and covers it wider and deeper than we do. Skip the Pitch covers the run from discovery to a won deal, with the website already built by the time you talk to the prospect. The table is the honest map of who does what.

"Needs your own AI account" is a real cost on our side, not a feature. It is also the reason our builds are unlimited. Both rows are the same trade seen from two directions.
How does the pricing compare?
The models are different shapes. Outscraper charges per record and nothing per month, which is ideal when you want data in bulk and nothing else. Skip the Pitch charges a flat monthly plan that covers a managed Google discovery allowance, publishing and hosting, and never meters the build.
Outscraper
Every service is metered per record extracted, with its own free allowance and two volume tiers, and there is no monthly fee. Advanced filters and API access sit on the higher tier of each service.
- First 500 Google Maps places in a 30-day cycleFree
- Google Maps places 501 to 100,000$3 per 1,000
- Google Maps places above 100,000$1 per 1,000
- Phone number lookup$5 per 1,000
Skip the Pitch
No build meter at all. Builds run locally on your own AI account, so a plan never caps how many sites you make. Plans differ on two things only: how much managed Google discovery you get, and how many published sites you can keep live.
The honest trade: you supply and pay for your own Claude, Codex or OpenRouter account, and the app needs a Mac with Apple silicon or a 64-bit Windows 10/11 PC.

When should you choose Outscraper instead?
Often, and we would rather say so than waste your time. Outscraper is built for people who need structured business data at volume: agencies running bulk outreach, researchers, local SEO specialists and anyone feeding a pipeline by API. It is a data utility, not a sales workflow.
- Pulls from 50+ sources: Google Maps, Search, Shopping and Play, Amazon, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot, Yellow Pages and B2B databases. Skip the Pitch searches Google and free maps for local businesses only.
- Built for volume. Prices fall to $1 per 1,000 records past 100,000, so hundreds of thousands of rows are routine.
- A public API for every scraper, so the data can feed your own pipeline or CRM with no human in the loop.
- Scrapes reviews at scale across Google Maps, Amazon, Trustpilot and more. Skip the Pitch does not collect reviews.
- Email and phone enrichment and validation as standalone services with their own pricing.
If any of those describe you, use Outscraper. It is a good product and it is not trying to do what we do. See Outscraper
When does Skip the Pitch make more sense?
When the list was never the hard part. Most agencies can get a thousand business names in an afternoon. The bottleneck is knowing which of them are worth pitching, and walking in with something they want to buy. Outscraper does not attempt:
- Judging whether a business's website is weak, or scoring it at all.
- Building a replacement or showcase site to pitch with.
- Tracking outreach or a deal after the export.
Skip the Pitch covers the whole run: find, grade, build, close. You walk into the conversation with the finished site already made, which is the entire idea: see how it works.
