Landingsite.ai review

Landingsite.ai vs Skip the Pitch: an honest review for people who sell websites.

Short answer

Landingsite.ai is an AI website builder for small businesses: answer two questions and it designs, writes and publishes the site, with a logo, hosting, a $1 first-year domain and editing by chat. Skip the Pitch is a desktop app for agencies and freelancers who sell websites to local businesses: it finds the prospects, grades their current site, builds a bespoke showcase site to pitch with, and tracks the deal to won.

On the build step this is the closest comparison on the site: both make a complete site with AI before the client pays. The difference is everything around it. Landingsite.ai starts from a business you already know and hosts the result on its platform, per site. Skip the Pitch finds and grades the business first, builds on your own AI account and machine, and tracks the deal to won.

What is the actual difference?

Landingsite.ai is the better website product for the business owner, with a store, invoices, memberships and editing by chat after launch. Skip the Pitch is the better sales tool for the person selling the site: it decides who to pitch, builds the demo and follows the deal. If you already have the clients, Landingsite.ai's Agency plan may be all you need.

"Needs your own AI account" is a real cost on our side, not a feature. It is also the reason our builds are unlimited. Both rows are the same trade seen from two directions.

How does the pricing compare?

The models are different shapes. Landingsite.ai charges per website: drafts cost credits on the $49 Agency plan, and each live client site is its own Pro subscription at $30 a month. Skip the Pitch is one flat plan that covers discovery and published preview links, and never meters the build.

Landingsite.ai

Per website. Every live site is its own Basic or Pro subscription. The Agency plan adds a pooled credit allowance for drafts: 25 credits to generate a new site, 1 credit per AI edit after that, 750 credits a month, and more at $10 per 200.

  • New website draft (Agency)25 credits
  • Each AI edit after that1 credit
  • Pooled credits per month (Agency)750
  • Each live client site$30/mo (Pro)

Skip the Pitch

No build meter at all. Builds run locally on your own AI account, so a plan never caps how many sites you make. Plans differ on two things only: how much managed Google discovery you get, and how many published sites you can keep live.

The honest trade: you supply and pay for your own AI account (Claude, Codex, OpenRouter, Cursor Agent and more), and the app needs a Mac with Apple silicon or a 64-bit Windows 10/11 PC.

When should you choose Landingsite.ai instead?

Often, and we would rather say so than waste your time. Landingsite.ai is built for business owners who want a good website without learning a builder, and agencies that would rather build client sites in a browser and pay per live site. Its Agency plan is a genuine fit for people who sell websites.

  • Nothing to install and no AI account to bring: two questions in a browser and a site, logo and copy are ready in about five minutes, by their own measure.
  • Free to start with no credit card, so you can build and preview before paying anything.
  • The site keeps working after the sale: hosting, SSL, a $1 first-year domain and edits by chat are part of every plan.
  • Pro sites take payments: an online store, invoices and memberships, paid out to the bank with a 1% fee on top of Stripe's.
  • On the Agency plan, previews sit on a white-labelled domain and you bill clients through your own Stripe or PayPal, so they never see Landingsite.

If any of those describe you, use Landingsite.ai. It is a good product, built for a different job than ours. See Landingsite.ai

When does Skip the Pitch make more sense?

When you do not have the client yet. Landingsite.ai assumes you already know which business you are building for. Skip the Pitch starts a step earlier, with the search for businesses whose website is weak or missing, and keeps going after the preview with a pipeline to won. Landingsite.ai does not attempt:

  • Finding the businesses to pitch. You start from a business name and description you already have.
  • Grading a prospect's current website before you build.
  • Tracking the deal. Its agency workflow ends when the client says yes and you upgrade that site to Pro.
  • Letting the site leave the platform. Its own FAQ says a website can only be hosted by Landingsite.

Skip the Pitch covers the whole run: find, grade, build, close. You walk into the conversation with the finished site already made, which is the entire idea: see how it works.
